Australia's most sought-after jobs revealed after Covid changed the employment landscape - and some of them can earn you up to $240,000 a year

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on Australia's employment landscape, with highly paid jobs in select fields currently experiencing a surge in demand.
Digitisation and the rise of working from home have seen employers crying out for someone to fill jobs that pay between $50,000 and $240,000 a year - and a degree might not be required.
A report released by LinkedIn on Tuesday found human resources and technology roles are on the rise, according to data analysed up to July 2021.

HR came out on top, with those capable of working as a chief human resources officer now ranked as Australia's most sought-after employees, with vacancies offering up to $240,000 a year for the right employee.
In second place, machine learning engineers - information technology workers specialising in artificial intelligence - are being sought for jobs ranging from$50,000 to $229,000 depending on skills, with most averaging 4.5 years experience in tech.

Other in-demand IT jobs include site reliability engineers, power system engineers and data engineers, who can rake in up to $176,000 a year.
LinkedIn Career Expert Cayla Dengate told Daily Mail Australia the report provides an insight into where Australia's workforce is heading and the long-term opportunities for job seekers.
'We're seeing big movements in HR and tech roles, with specifically engineering-focused jobs having been some of the fastest-growing positions over the past five years,' she said.

Canstar finance expert Effie Zahos said there was an increase in demand from small businesses or larger companies 'looking for people to help get their tech right'.
She added employers were most interested in candidates with transferable skills as Covid-19 continues to affect the workforce.
'Because there's such labour shortages, they're looking for a person with the right skill set - not necessarily a degree,' she says.
Job vacancies are now are record highs with 396,100 positions available in November, the Australian Bureau of Statistics revealed last week.
During the past year, advertised employment numbers have surged by 56.1 per cent or by 142,400, making it even harder for employers to recruit staff.
The number of job ads in November 2021 was 74.2 per cent higher than in February 2020, just before the pandemic.
